RecCollect REPORTS
RecCollect REPORTS allows an investment manager to outsource many of the activities associated with reconciliation to a specialist supplier.
Using data extracted from an investment manager's portfolio accounting system and sent electronically to Electra, and data obtained directly
from the investment manager's custodians, Electra completes an electronic comparison of the data (according to matching criteria determined by
the investment manager). Reports of reconciled and unreconciled items are produced at predetermined times and are electronically sent to the
investment manager.
These reports will be used by the investment manager's operations staff to learn of discrepancies between the internal accounting system and
the records of the custodians. Operations staff will use the reports to support their research into exceptions and resolve discrepancies either
by changing data in the portfolio accounting system or having the custodian records changed.
