Advanced Custodian Trade Notification System
The Electra Information Systems ACTioN (Advanced Custodian Trade Notification System)
automates the generation and transmission of securities trade notification messages from
investment managers to custodian banks.
Using data made available from a trade order management, portfolio accounting or other
internal system, ACTioN generates formatted and industry standard messages
(ISO15022/S.W.I.F.T./ISITC-IOA) for automatic transmission to custodians.
The system transmits the messages to custodians and other interested parties through
the Omgeo TradeHub, a certified S.W.I.F.T. interface to the S.W.I.F.T. network, by
automated file transmission (ftp or dial-up), by email or by fax. The appropriate
message receipt acknowledgements (which vary according to the transmission vehicle
selected) are fully supported.
An interface is also provided for the Omgeo Oasys – TradeMatch service. This allows an
investment manager to automate trade matching with the broker confirmations and the
generation of the corresponding affirmations. Local matching and affirmation generation
in ACTioN complements the central matching and affirmation generation offered by Omgeo
Oasys – TradeMatch.
